● Shutterbook · A field reference for photographers
Choose what you’re shooting and see exactly where to put the dials — mode, aperture, shutter, ISO — with the reasons behind them. In seconds, with no signal at all.
How it works
Browse by category, search, or answer three questions — subject, motion, light — and the wizard suggests the cards that fit.
Mode, aperture, shutter and ISO open every card as large tiles, in dual notation — Av / A Tv / S — so they match the dial on any brand of camera. Tips, gear and the reasoning follow.
Live Shoot puts the settings on a landscape display with big numerals that stays awake while you work. Nudge a value by a stop and the others rebalance to hold the exposure. Starred cards are a swipe apart.
The library
34 shooting techniques and 35 camera concepts — from the Milky Way and wedding days to histograms, metering and white balance. Each with its own illustration.

Offline
Every card, illustration and table is inside the app. A ridge at 2 a.m., a valley without coverage, airplane mode — it makes no difference.
Notation
Camera makers letter the same modes differently. Shutterbook writes both, so the card reads like your camera — whatever the brand.
Red night mode
Light and dark themes for the day. For the night, everything in dim red on black — readable at a glance without wrecking the dark adaptation you waited for.
